Category Index is an independent network of focused directory and utility sites run by Amin Mohseni. The network is built around a simple rule: each public site should answer a narrow user need with useful data, visible sources, and a single canonical host.
The directory pillar compares local service options from public business-profile data and documented source checks. The utility pillar publishes free calculators and tools with transparent formulas, dated assumptions, and browser-side inputs where possible.
Network scope
Category Index is the network index. Individual products live on their own canonical hosts, such as standalone domains or focused categoryindex.com subdomains. The apex does not duplicate city, service, or calculator pages from child sites.
